The Seven Churches of Revelation 
Day 1 - Istanbul
This trip begins in Istanbul where you are escorted from the airport to your hotel by your
Tachda Tours representative. Briefing and welcome cocktail in the evening. (D) Day 2 - Istanbul
Today we will show you the Topkapi Palace Museum - the seat of the Ottoman Empire for 400 years, the Blue Mosque with its delicate blue tiles, the Hippodrome, the Saint Sophia church-turned-museum, the Underground Cistern and the Suleymaniye Mosque built by Sinan. (BLD)
Day 3 - Izmir
Following an early flight to Izmir we drive north to visit the site of one of the Seven Churches, Pergamum, a beautiful ancient city whose highlights include the Altar of Zeus and the world-famous health center Asclepion. Our next stop before settling in Izmir is Thyateria which was another member city of the Seven Churches. (BLD)
Day 4 - Izmir
We visit Sardis, another of the Seven Churces. Highlights will be the 3rd century Synagogue and the Church. Next we stop by Philadelphia. This site needs to be excavated more but we will see the basilica and several unique mosques. Back to Izmir. (BLD)
Day 5 - Pamukkale
Before we visit Laodicea, one of the Seven Churches, we will stop by Aphrodisias, a cultural learning center of the ancient world, where the highlights include the Stadium, the Baths of Hadrian and the Bishop`s Palace. Our next stop Laodicea hosted an Ecumenical Council in the 4th century. It was mentioned in the Revelations . Highlights will be the Nymphaeum, the Amphitheater and the Council Chamber. Dinner and overnight at Pamukkale. (BLD)
Day 6 - Istanbul
We will visit Ephesus this morning where another one of the Seven Churches is located. Nicknamed "The Pearl of the Aegean", Ephesus is probably the best preserved ancient city in the world. Highlights are Basilica of St. John (where he wrote his Gospel), Church of the Virgin Mary, the Library of Celsus and the Theater. We will also pay a visit to the House of Virgin Mary, where she had spent her last days and died. The Vatican considers the visit a pilgrimage. Following the visits we will drive the last 40 miles to the Izmir airport to catch an evening flight to Istanbul. We will transfer to our hotel, dinner and overnight. (BLD)
Day 7 - Istanbul
Today will be a relaxing day, with first a short visit to the Spice Bazaar and later a Bosphorus cruise, lunch by the sea side and a visit to the exquisite private collection of Sadberk Hanim. Settle in hotel for dinner and overnight. (BLD)
Day 8 - Transfer
